SWIM MEET INFORMATION - JUNE 14 - BMSW@KWPR

Here is information for our meet on THURSDAY. Thanks in advance for your cooperation. You are as important as our swimmers and we couldn't do it without you!

We need a volunteer to take the large cooler (and a few small ones) somewhere to fill with ice for concessions. PLEASE let Sally know if you can go. We can't take them to the church as the ice is needed for summer camp.
  1. CONCESSIONS: Families with a last name from R-Z, please bring a case of water, A-C 2 2-liter bottles of Soda, D-H an 8 pk of 20 oz Gatorade, and J-P- 24ish Individually wrapped snacks (if homemade, separate into small zip locks). Store bought favorites are the oatmeal pies, chocolate peanut butter bars, other Hostess/Little Debbie type items. We will have Kolache's (cheeseburger, pulled pork, and pizza), along with water, Gatorade, chips and snacks.
  2. PARKING: Please plan to drop your swimmer and stuff off at the pool/tent area (tent area will be in shaded area of the pool yard on the left hand side of the pool behind the tree). Park along the left side of the streets in the neighborhood, which is the pool side of Gail Drive. Please only park on ONE SIDE, not both sides of the road. Parking in the gravel lot behind the pool will reserved for Handicap Parking, Coaches, Sail Reps, and Officials.
  3. WARM-UPS: will be at 5:15. Please arrive by 5:00 to set up your chairs, etc., and get your swimmer settled.
  4. TENTS: Please bring any available tents that you have. We will need to use these this week for concessions in addition to the team area.
  5. VOLUNTEERS: Records, Ribbons and Computers will be set up under the shelter. A volunteer area near the computer area will be set up for you to check in and get your name tag. 1st Half Officials will meet at 5:30 near the Starter Stand.
  6. PARENTS: Please talk to your swimmers about tent behavior. We need them to stay in the tent area and not to be out running around in the pool yard. It's a difficult job for two tent parents to keep track of our entire team. There is also poison ivy in the woods. We did spray along the outside to prevent any catastrophe. Have them bring playing cards and other quiet games for them to occupy themselves in the tent area. We would have you ask them not to stand on the concrete table under the trees. It is EXTREMELY heavy. Someone knocked it over at previous meets and we would not want anyone to get hurt. We would also like them to be prepared to cheer on their team mates while they are waiting to swim. Thanks in advance!
See you Thursday!
