CANEBRAKE SWIM MEET - JUNE 3 **PLEASE READ**
KWPR at Canebrake June 3rd
Meet at 6:00 pm
Pool address: 101 Kings Mountain Dr, Greer, SC 29650
Parking: You may drop off your swimmers in front of the clubhouse and park on the right side of the streets in the neighborhood. You may also park in The Buena Vista Elementary School (310 S Batesville Road, Greer) Please be respectful of no parking signs as you may get towed.
Warm ups: CB 5:15-5:30 KWPR 5:30-5:45 (this will give us 15 minutes to get swimmers back to tents and lined up to start promptly at 6:00 pm)
Swimmers: We are no longer using blue cards and have switched to timer sheets. To help with this process change, Parents, please write the last name of your swimmers on the swimmer's arm, along with their event numbers from the attached Swimmer Check In Document. This will greatly help Clerk of Course and Tent Parents. A list of swimmers and their events is attached to this email along with a heat sheet for you to print. There will be no heat sheets available at the meet.
Tent location: Our swimmer area will be next to our basketball court/tennis courts. This area is not covered, feel free to bring pop-up tents if you would like.
Volunteers: Ribbons and Computers will be located on the pool deck. 1st Half Officials will meet at 5:15 near the Starter Stand.
Spectators: Are allowed on deck while their swimmer is swimming. Chairs are not permitted and spectators need to clear off the deck when they have finished watching their swimmer. Feel free to hang out in the tent area or outside the pool deck.
Concessions Menu: Concessions is located in the small portion of the pool parking lot, we’ll have a food truck (The Cluck Truck) and drinks and candy. We accept cash.
Severe Weather Plan: In the event of severe weather, we will follow SAIL’s Severe Weather Policy. If we clear the deck, everyone will be asked to return to their cars. I will email/text you when swimmers can return to the pool area.
Exhibition Relay: We will not be having an Exhibition Relay.
