Heritage Lakes Blue Wave welcomes Knollwood/Planters Row and Bent Creek

Location: Heritage Lakes pool address is 104 Black Horse Run, Simpsonville, 29681. It is close to the intersection of Woodruff Rd and Hwy 14.

Meet to start at 6:00 pm

Warm-ups are 5:15-5:45 pm. Please arrive by 5 pm to set up chairs, tents, and get settled. (Athlete Check In is attached)

Parking: We will have parking attendants to direct you to parking in our lot and in the grass around our Tennis court. When the lot is full, you are welcome to park along one side of the street on Black Horse Run and Steeplechase Ct. Please honor all No Parking signs and do not block or park across from a driveway. Violators are subject to tow at your expense. Additional parking is also available at Redeeming Grace Church, just up the road from the pool. It is approximately a quarter mile walk from that parking lot to the pool. We plan to have handicap parking available in a grass area very close to the pool. There is a paved walking path to the pool that will be steps away from the handicap parking. In the event our grass is too wet for parking, ALL parking will be in the lot, on the street, or at Redeeming Grace Church. (A diagram is attached)

Swimmer Drop off: For your convenience, please drive through the pool parking lot to drop off swimmers and gear in front of our clubhouse. If there is space in the parking lot or grass areas, we suggest that you park there and make the short walk to the pool.

Tent Area: The visiting team will have a tent area just outside of the pool. There are no electrical outlets but you may bring generators for fans if you wish. Please wear sandals/shoes while in the grass as there may be bees in the clover. BUG SPRAY might be a good idea. Please be careful of the new trees that have been planted in our greenspaces and do not allow children to disturb them. Our playground WILL be open for the little ones. Tennis Courts are NOT open. Pool Deck: There will be space for one row of chairs for limited mobility spectators next to the pool. Behind that will be a space for spectators to stand and watch one event. After your swimmer has finished, please move out of the viewing area to allow for the next group of spectators. You are welcome to set up chairs in your tent area or on our pool deck behind the designated viewing area. (Diagram attached)

Clerk of Course will be set up to the right of our pool entrance. Please stay to the left to watch your swimmer.

Concessions: Located in our clubhouse. We are currently CASH ONLY.

We will have hamburgers and hot dogs for sale along with chips, drinks, candy, and baked goods.

Volunteer Information: We will have a table set up toward the back of the pool for your Officials. Computers and ribbons will be set up under tents in the front left corner of the pool deck. All first half Officials should report to the Starter end of the pool at 5:45.

Severe Weather Policy: We will follow all SAIL rules for weather delays. Spectators may wait in their vehicles or in the tent area depending on the severity of the weather event.
