Knollwood/Planters Row & Heritage Lakes at Canebrake

June 1st Meet at 6:00 pm

Pool address: 101 Kings Mountain Dr, Greer, SC 29650

Parking: The Parking lot is limited to coaches and SAIL Reps. You may drop off your swimmers in front of the clubhouse and park in The Buena Vista Elementary School lot (310 S Batesville Rd, Greer). You may also park on the right side of the street in the neighborhood. Please be respectful of no parking signs as you may get towed.

Warm ups: Lanes 4 – 6 5:15-5:30 (10& under) 5:30-5:45 (11 & Over) Please arrive no later than 4:45 to get your swimmer settled in the tent area. This will give us time to get settled the tennis courts, take our team photo, and start warm ups.

Swimmers: Please write the last name of your swimmer on their arm. This will greatly help Clerk of Course. It would also be helpful to Tent Parents if you write your swimmers events on their arm or leg prior to arrival. For our new families, this consists of event number, heat, and lane. A heat sheet is attached or you can find these on the Swimtopia app.

Tent location: Our swimmer area will be next to the basketball court/tennis courts, across from Canebrake’s area. This area is not covered, please bring pop-up tents if you have them.

Volunteers: Ribbons and Computers will be located on the pool deck. 1st Half Officials will meet at 5:45 near the Starter Stand.

Spectators: Are allowed on deck while your swimmer is swimming. Chairs are not permitted and spectators need to clear off the deck when they have finished watching their swimmer. Feel free to hang out in the tent area or outside the pool deck.

Concessions Menu: Concessions is located on the pool deck. They will serve hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chips, drinks and candy. They accept CASH ONLY. There is a water filling station near the restrooms, so please encourage your swimmer to bring a water bottle.

Severe Weather Plan: In the event of severe weather, we will follow SAIL’s Severe Weather Policy. If we clear the deck, everyone will be asked to return to their cars. I will email/text you when swimmers can return to the pool area.

The first meet is always a bit crazy, but I know it will be a lot of fun!
