Gold Divisionals

Pool address: 101 Kings Mountain Dr, Greer, SC 29650

Parking: Their Parking Lot is Limited. You may drop off your swimmers in front of the pool parking lot. Please do not pull into the parking lot if you do not have a parking pass as it will clog traffic. You should park in The Buena Vista Elementary School (310 S Batesville Rd, Greer) parking lot across from the pool. If you park in the neighborhood, please park on the right side of the street and be respectful of no parking signs as you may get towed.

Warm ups: Please arrive no later than 7:15 am. Warm ups will be from 7:45-8:30 with each team having 2 lanes. KWPR will be in Lanes 1 and 2. Two teams will already be there and the remaining 3 have warmups at the same time. It will be very hectic if you are running late.

Swimmers: Please ask your families to write the last name of their swimmers on the swimmer's arm (if your name is not on your cap). This will greatly help clerk of course and ensure each swimmer is matched up with their lane.

Tent location: Our swimmer area will be on the basketball courts. KWPR will be on the basketball court in the corner closest to the road. This area is not covered. Please bring any and all pop-up tents to help keep our swimmers and parents out of the sun. Last year we had 5 tents and it was NOWHERE near enough to keep all of our kids out of the sun. We will have a generator and 2 large fans to help keep them cooler.

Volunteers: 8:15 - Timers meeting behind the blocks 8:15 - Officials meeting at the starter stand.  I have attached the volunteer list for reference. Please be sure you know when your shift is so you can report in a timely manner.

Spectators: Are allowed on deck while their swimmer is swimming. Chairs are NOT PERMITTED on the pool deck and spectators need to clear off the deck when they have finished watching their swimmer. Feel free to hang out in the tent area or outside the pool deck. Parents will have to enter and exit the pool through the building and not through the tennis/basketball fence as this will be the Clerk of Course area.

Concessions Menu: Concessions is located on the pool deck. We will serve: Breakfast
Coffee 

CFA Chicken Biscuits

Donuts
Fruit

Lunch 

Hamburgers
Cheeseburgers
Hot Dogs

They will also have candy, drinks, popsicles, etc. Concessions will be CASH ONLY.

There is a water bottle filler outside the restrooms.  I recommend bringing refillable water bottles.

Parade: The parade of teams will start at 8:30 am. Our Divisional Theme is Olmpics:Going for the Gold! We represent the black ring. Our team theme is ducks!  Feel Free to dress up with your black team shirt, Olympic items, or duck items!

Severe Weather Plan: In the event of severe weather, we will follow SAIL’s Severe Weather Policy. If we clear the deck, everyone will be asked to return to their cars. I will email/text you when swimmers can return to the pool area.

Heat Sheets are attached to this email, along with the Athlete Check In. We will not have printed heat sheets at the meet so if you would like to have one, please print it and bring it with you. As with all meets, you can use the Athlete Check In to write events on your swimmer before arriving to make it easier.
